Please spread the word. This is a great opportunity for pre-professional through professional dancers to experience a local artist's process for selecting dancers, for free. My vision is for the room to be full of dancers of all different backgrounds, so everyone is welcome.

Audition: Denia Dance
Tuesday, February 5th, 8pm-9:30pm
San Francisco Dance Center, Studio 5, 26 7th Street, San Francisco, CA
Denia Dance is looking for male and female dancers for a performance at Cowell Theatre on April 27th, 2008. Rehearsals will be held on Tuesday and Friday evenings, February to April at the San Francisco Dance Center. Compensation includes performance pay and free training. The audition will be a short class followed by choreographic exploration.
Felice Denia directs Denia Dance, a San Francisco contemporary dance company, and performs and teaches all over the Bay Area. Her choreography uses the movement vocabulary of ballet and early modern dance as well as salsa and old-school jazz. Her class is based in Horton technique and incorporates salsa, ballet, and other Latin and African rhythms. She trained at San Francisco Conservatory of Dance and Ballet Pacifica Conservatory, in addition to intensive training with Jayne Persch, creator of Foundation® technique.
